I cannot recommend this strongly enough... (though I'm glad Mikkel
helped you get it fixed...). Please... before you upgrade your kernel
again read this:

This document explains in detail how to upgrade a kernel using binary
RPM's. It's well worth reading and will help keep folks out of the kind
of trouble you got yourself in to! :-)
