This is what mine looks like:

  # top -C

  9:32am  up 34 days, 22:26,  2 users,  load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
   92 processes: 91 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
   CPU states:  3.8% user,  1.8% system,  0.0% nice, 194.0% idle
   CPU0 states:  1.0% user,  0.0% system,  0.0% nice, 98.0% idle
   CPU1 states:  1.0% user,  1.0% system,  0.0% nice, 96.0% idle


    A 'top' with no arguments gives me just CPU0 and CPU1.  So, I wonder if
the first one (CPU) is just the cumulative of the two CPU's?

    Release 7.0, kernel 2.2.17 SMP.
