I still have my 2nd linux server...  386dx40, mathco, 24M RAM, 120M HD, 540M
HD, 14.4 modem, 3COM etherlink III combo card, RH 3.2 (I think)...  The 1st
one I sold a couple of years ago - it was a 386sx20, mathco, 20M  RAM (The
RAM & mathco cost ~$650), running slackware...  

Both made great internet gateways/firewalls, print& file servers...  They're
too slow for today's machines, tho - mostly because they're CPU limited for
the network...  Max ~1Mbps, even tho they have 10Mbps cards...  Of course,
back then, the fastest machine on my network was a 486dx4-100, which was
also CPU limited on the network...
