Thanks...that's something to try, next time.

In the meantime, it was complaining about not having /dev/hda?  where
? was the 3 partitions listed in lilo.conf.

I did a mknod for each one, then did a "lilo -C
/mnt/sysimage/etc/lilo.conf" and it actually worked...oh, yeah, I did
a "ln -s /mnt/sysimage/boot /boot" first...it complained about /boot
not existing.  Oy.
