Just would like to explain why I wanted to find the install date of these
packages (writing all the following just from memory ... not sure whether
it was all exactly as I will describe it now ...):

I had a problem with Netscape until about 2 months ago or so: when I
started Netscape *after* having opened and then closed down my telephone
line it took about 5-10 (!!) minutes for the complete start of the
browser... when I started Netscape *without* having had opened and closed
down any telephone line before, it took just seconds for Netscape for a
complete start ...

But the situation changed some weeks ago: from this time on I *always*
could start Netscape as often as I wanted, and it never took more than
a few seconds for its complete startup ... the point was: I didn't change
any Netscape settings this time ... the only reason I saw for this
different behavior of Netscape was probably an updated or even newly
installed rpm other than Netscape.
So now with the solution from "find rpm installs" I found out I updated or
installed a new
bind-8.2.3-0.6.x
some weeks ago ... and maybe this is the reason for a "better" Netscape
now ... don't know ...

There are many more rpm's I installed or updated the last weeks (apache or
telnet for example ... ), but this bind RPM seems to be a possible answer
to the different Netscape behavior.

Just in case someone having similar problems with this browser ...

Regards.
Wolfgang
