It's funny you say that. I got a tivo recently and love it. However unlike
you, it has inspired me to put a computer next to another tv (bedroom)
with a radeon in it to create a webtv/tivo/dvd player (using linux of
course). With a wireless keyboard I hope to sit in bed and catch on this
list sometime. I don't fully understand it, but being in the same room as
my wife keeps her a lot happier than when I'm in the office :)
Yes, I have a laptop, but the idea is to have the tv playing next
to/around my mail client.
call me nuts (don't worry I'm used to it).
