Please edit the posts you are replying to, so that others don't have to
wade through four pages of text and three list signatures before replying.
Remember in particular that those who get the digest get a *very big* piece
of mail.
You should never use linuxconf to configure sendmail; there are several
well known problems with it and it will break your sendmail. See the
sendmail FAQ (http://www.sendmail.org/faq) for details on the problem and
the solution.
As a matter of fact, I've had it impressed upon me that linuxconf is,
overall, broken and one should search for better ways to do things. Webmin
is what I'm using and it's truly a wonderful thing.
