Hector... it doesn't have anything to do with what Red Hat release
you're running. It has to do with what MTA you're running and how it's
configured. If you're not experienced with MTA's and how they're
configured then you need to do a bunch of reading and there is no
substitute for doing it! Here's a starting place:

http://www.moongroup.com/pages.php?page=docs

If you're running sendmail and you already know something about how to
configure it then go and download a piece of software called DRAC from
the following URL:

http://mail.cc.umanitoba.ca/drac/index.html

and then install it. The site contains a great deal of documentation
which explains how to install it and how to configure your MTA. This
would be the most elegant solution.

Simply configuring the MTA to allow relay from a specific IP is covered
in a number of the documents on my site at MoonGroup.com and elsewhere
so go read them and then make it happen. I don't want to spoon-feed you
how to do this because I've gotten tired of doing that (it takes a long
time to do it 12 times a day for everyone that asks me) and written it
down... that's what's on my site along with a pile of other useful
documentation on mail which I've put all in one place so you don't have
to search it out!

If, on the other hand, you simply want to open your server up to relay
from anywhere I won't help you... I get enough spam already without
helping someone become an open relay.
