Which is why Windows is so popular to begin with, because it is the "better"
O/S. If you are a Linux advocate, show your support at every opportunity.
The concept of revenge doesn't enter into it. Linux does not have to gain
popularity at the expense of something else. That is entirely the wrong
mindset. In fact, it is the competitive proprietary, monopolistic business
model of the company you seek "revenge" against.
Just support Linux because it's good, and support it often.
