After upgrading from 2.4.0 to 2.4.3 I started receiving these messages /var/log/messages. I didn't compile something important to my kernel or what is going on...? --snip-- Apr 5 12:02:46 mail /sbin/mingetty[31981]: /dev/tty1: cannot open tty: No such device Apr 5 12:02:46 mail modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-4 Apr 5 12:02:46 mail /sbin/mingetty[31983]: /dev/tty1: cannot open tty: No such device Apr 5 12:02:46 mail modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-4 Apr 5 12:02:46 mail /sbin/mingetty[31985]: /dev/tty1: cannot open tty: No such device Apr 5 12:03:01 mail modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-4 Apr 5 12:03:01 mail /sbin/mingetty[31987]: /dev/tty2: cannot open tty: No such device Apr 5 12:03:01 mail modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-4 --snip-- It's a mail server and it hasn't got a monitor, so I don't know if logging in from console works or not. I can login with ssh fine. What should I do about this?
