mmh. ok, but I really doubt it. lilo is getting it started fine and I
thought once the kernel was loaded that it didn't matter.

Ahhh! [light bulb turns on in head] So thats what Leonard meant! Now this
make a lot of sense. Yes, this is probably my problem. The machine I'm
building on must have glibc for a 686 processor (it's a cleron) and the
one I'm building it for needs the other. I never thought of that.
Great. I have a good test for this. Last night I installed 7.1 on a amd k5
166, so if glibc was the problem, then I should be able to move this disk
back and forth between it and the i-opener and it should work!
