Ok here's the scoop. RH 7.0 running fetchmail, poling aprox ever minute, three pop3 accounts. running procmail to sort incoming mail from aprox 7 different email lists i'm on. procmail drops incoming email into the respective mailboxes, no troubles with that. Here's my boggle. Whenever an email comes into the the spool I get a "new mail in /var/spool/mail/rfindlay" system message. But only when new mail is in the system spool. I want to configure this bugger so that I'll get a similar message whenever procmail drops a message into one of my other mailboxes. (i'm not always at a console with mutt up, and I like to know when new messages arrive). Can anyone help? Can i just edit whatever causes the systemwide message when i get mail in spool to also go off when mail lands in any other mailboxes I specify? Thanks in advance. -- In Solidarity!
