Thank you very much for your reply to my question. I looked at both of
the sites you mentioned and understood much more of what was said on
the Win4lin site than the Vmware site. That in itself is a recommendation
<G>.
I am not quite sure about one thing, though. As I understand it, Win4lin
requires Windows to be installed. Does that mean that Windows is
actually running Quicken or whatever? If that is the case, aren't we still
left with all the quirks of Windows?
Actually, I don't have either 95 or 98 installed. My primary OS is OS/2
Warp 4 and I run a DOS version of Quicken under it. I do have a
Windows version that I could install. I tried W98 for a few months with
Quicken and Office. Quicken was fine even though bloated but Windows
gave me fits so I returned to OS/2 and took W98 off of the machine.
