I am running RH6.2 and had a couple of printers configured and working. I
tried to add another print but could not get it to work (separate issue).
I tried to print to the one print which did work and am unable to do so
now. I then delete the non working printer and removed directory created
for it.
It one printer which did work still did not work. There is no error
messages in /var/log/messages. I tried stopping the lpd daemon. I tried
rebooting. I still cannot figure out what is wrong. when printing from
Pine the error message is :
lpr: connect: Connection refused
jobs queued, but cannot start daemon.
The printcap file is the same as when it was working.
What am I missing?
