7.1 CD install/ugrade not possible on HP LC

Has anyone been able to upgrade to 7.1 (from 7.0) on an HP LC
(or similar 274x scsi machine) ?

The only media source options are FTP and http (CD isn't amongst them)

However, it boots from the CD just fine
