Well, here's the blurb: The anaconda package contains portions of the Red hat Linux installation program which can then be run by the user for reconfiguration and advanced installation options. That's that reconfig thing I have running at boot that I was eventually going to get around to trying to figure out. Alas, 7.2 gave me too many headaches that I had to keep finding workarounds to repair, and took away some spare time that may or may not have been dedicated to this or one of the 1,022,387 things that I still have on my plate. Maybe by next release I can spend more time and actually REDUCE the growing number of things I need to do. > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Ohhh yeah.. well I had some good info anyway. anaconda is.. um.. on the > tip of my tongue but i forget what it is :) > > I worked all day.. can't see straight :) > > On Fri, 16 Nov 2001, ABrady wrote: > > > Sounds like you're confusing ANACRON and ANACONDA. > > > > > anaconda is the > > > My-box-isn't-a-server-and-doesn't-stay-running-for-weeks-on-end cron > > > daemon.
