That's been my point about Linux in general. The primary barrier to widespread adoption of anything new is that people are used to what they have. They always think something new is "more difficult", when the reality is that they're accustomed to the old way, its eccentricities and shortcomings, and have developed coping mechanisms for those shortcomings. And then there are the cultivated dependencies, fostered by the old system for its own benefit. Basically the same reasons that bad marriages endure. =) - -d - -- David Talkington http://www.spotnet.org PGP key: http://www.prairienet.org/~dtalk/0xCA4C11AD.pgp -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.5.8 Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.75-6 iQA/AwUBO/bBN79BpdPKTBGtEQJCwwCfUT/Jo4vqTUspiWEY5ca9suudexMAoPRI 7BM5QNPzOMMFac0kX/x1IBWm =W46b -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
