If you're talking about Windows desktops, you're asking in the wrong place. Your router can't stop machines that are connected directly to each other from broadcasting to each other. That said, you can use the Policy Editor from your Windows CDROM to remove the Network Neighborhood from the desktop. You can also set up a DHCP server (running Linux ;) and set "option netbios-node-type" to 2, I think.
