I have been able to connect to the internet prior to 7.2. I have been using RP3 applet and tried to use that this time.
I cannot connect to the internet, at least I cannot access any pages. RP3/debug connects, but the name resolution is screwed up so i cannot access anything. I have tried every possible combination of options with RP3 and its still no good. The weird thing is that I can connect with 7.1 and with Roswell too. My hardware has remained the same throughout. I would like to know how I can connect via the command line. I can get wvdial setup ok and connect, but I cannot access any pages. Where do I put the name server IP? The username, password, and account name go into /etc/wvdial.conf, but where does the name server IP go? /etc/hosts? Any help would be appreciated.
