Hi there, I'm in the same posistion as Monte and was asked to ''thrash test'' my machines to diagnose a problem. The problem actually got sorted before I worked out how to ''thrash test''. How do you push a machine into croaking out? I tried usingthe Seti@Home client and re-niced it, the CPU was at 100% but there was very little memory used or disk activity, everything but seti slowed way down. Is there an application or script that simulates high user load?
