No problem at all. You were upgrading 2 rpms, after the first installed, 
the job was 50% done. If you had 3 rpms, it would have said 33%, etc.

I normally put all the rpms I want to upgrade in one directory, with the 
exception of any kernel rpms. I move the kernel upgrade rpm to a 
subdirectory. I can then..   
cd upgradedirectory
rpm -ivh kernelupdate/kernel*.rpm to install the updated kernel package.
rpm -Fvh *.rpm to update all the rpms in the directory.

If any of the packages are new installs, rather than updates, you'll need 
to use rpm -ivh. (-Uvh would work as well.)
