Additionally, just for fun, Red Hat and the MYSQL people can't seem to 
agree on a naming convention. Red Hat calls it mysql, as opposed to MySQL.
Personally, I prefer the lower case naming.

You might try:
rpm -qa | grep mysql 
and then:
rpm -qa | grep MySQL
