When the root user issues a shutdown command - it's a no holds barred
shutdown. The root user is the boss PERIOD.

Not - Are you sure? Really Sure? Shouldn't you have another coffee and think
about it sure?

Wendy, this is not Windows. It doesn't hold your hand. That's what so damn
cool about it. It just works!

If you want something like that you will have to dig up the runlevel
shutdown scripts, and modify them to check the printer queue before closing
lpd.

The same goes for your previous post a few days ago. Please don't compare
how Windows works to how Linux works. They're apples and oranges.

Linux is not for everybody.
