Hello you guys this is my situation, I create a directory under /usr/share/fonts/ called "truetype" I add it to the font path "chkfontpath --add /usr/share/fonts/truetype" I check to see if everything went o.k. "chkfontpath --list" and the new directory was in there, I restart the font servre "/etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs restart", but for some reason the fonts that I add in the directory don't show in my fonts when I try to use it to make a image in gimp.... or when I try to use them to make a document or text file.
