I just inherited a Compaq 1267 laptop that has these little keys on it for bringing up a browser, mail program and the like. I would like to set them up for use in linux, to bring up a terminal, galeon, that sort of thing. How would I go about doing something like that? Are there tools that can be used to identify the code that these keys are sending?
