Ok.. solution is: Think before you do :) Why would you be hitting ctrl+c during an RPM install anyway? You were the one who opted to have it installed in the first place. If you break it half way through, you can possibly corrupt the RPM database, among other things. You might want to try something like "rpm --rebuilddb" to undo some damage you may have done.
