I stand corrected! Indeed I was using an older version and have not
bothered to check for a newer one. The link description on the openssh 
page says it is scp(1) and I assumed that was still a valid statement.
Actually, I am thankful that there is a newer version as I liked that
particular piece of software. 

Now, what do I tell my students about making assumptions without
checking the validity... :)
