Is there anyway of purging my ram and/or the swap? My system becomes very slow after awhile and a reboot is the only way I can remedy this.
Also, is there a way of changing the memory allocation of various processes? It appears (in top) that X has close to 60Mb of memory allocated to it (running Gnome) and I'd like to know if it really needs that much and still remain stable.
