Sorry, I didn't mean to start a big OT topic.  Should
have marked it more clearly.  I've solved the problem,
I'll just install XP on another partition, I have
plenty of room.  If it works good I can get rid of 98
with no problem.  Please, no further posts on this
topic!  Thanks.
