The location is in /etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default/<NIC> there is another one in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/<NIC> there is a new very complicated gui called "neat" that handles these files if you don't want to edit the individual files.

For whatever reason I didn't get prompted to setup networking during the install, so I set it up manually. From the looks of it, ifup uses the GATEWAY and GATEWAYDEV env variables set in /etc/sysconfig/network to do this automatically, but it isn't working. I can manually set the default route, and put that in static-routes or rc.local, but I *know* this works on other machines without doing that. anyone? tia charles _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
