My apologies for the ambiguity; I think my use of the term 'drop' was
misinterpreted here.  Let me rephrase:  "_REMOVE_ the hardcoded hostname
from /etc/hosts and from /etc/sysconfig/network, and *smack* to Red Hat 
for putting it there."

Does that make more sense?
