My machine has some sort of Trident Blade 2D/3D AGP video built into
the motherboard. I can't seem to get it to work with SVGA, so I'd
like to use the VESA frame buffer (which *does* work), but can't seem to
get Xconfigurator to cooperate.

For the record, the Slackware bootable CD-ROM with VESA frame buffer works
fine. My Red Hat system has XF86_FBDev installed, as well as Xvfb (if that
matters). My LCD supports 1024*768 at hsync=48 and vsync=60.

Any suggestions?
