OK I went ahead and tried installing as root. I get farther but I get to a place where it appears that a dialog box is hidden behind the *$^@% full screen installer and I can't get behind it this is even if I use the --managed option to wine. ANy Ideas. Is there a searchable maillist some where? google returns about 42 million results no matter how hard I try to add words to the search to trim it down.
