Hi guys: Thanks for all your help. I know telnet/ftp are not as good as ssh, but I wanted to have them working because the other machines in the network do not have ssh installed.
Just to make it safer, can I give permission to just certain machines to telnet/ftp to my linux box? This is done in the /etc/hosts.allow or is this an option for NFS file sharing only?
