Hi all, If you are not sure about how much disk space to devote to swap space, you can be empirical about it. Install MRTG, either from the Redhat RPM or from source (compiles cleanly) and write some scripts to monitor memory and swap space usage. After some time, check the graphs to see how much swap space you have effectively used.
Alternatively, you can use the sar package to check on this values.
