I have xdcroast working fine when I'm logged in as root.

Would someone tell me why xcdroast fails unless I'm logged in as root. I set
the user section in the program setup, but even when I'm a "superuser",
xcdroast fails? Example (running RH 7.3):

[blitzer@GW0105 blitzer]$ su
Password:
[root@GW0105 blitzer]# xcdroast
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0
