check out your insall media - I know the mysql modules are included in 7.3 not sure about 7.2 also have you tried installing the module manually ie: unzip cd perl Makefile.PL make make test make install (from memory) > I don't like to use CPAN on my redhat boxes 'cause it doesn't enter > the > package information in the RPM database.
