As far as I am aware, no.  Take David's suggestion and rewrite the code in 
C.  That you can compile.  This actually sounds like a social enginerring 
solution rather than a technical one.  What if you charged them an 
seriously high fee when some luser mucks up the script?  The financial 
accounting types typically have the most effective L.A.R.T. 's going.  If 
they pay a $500 dollar bill for each fix, that usually gets somebody's 
attention.
