Can somebody help me with setting the hostname on my laptop workstation installation running RH7.3.
Currently my email headers have the something like "received: from localhost.localdomain" and I would like that to be something a bit more meaningful. What do I have to setup? >From what I can find on the net I think that I have to create a file in /etc called "hostname" and put my chosen hostname in there, and then edit the /etc/host file. Is this correct? Will it cause problems?
