I am running RH 7.2 on a AMD 850 mhz athlon with a Voodoo 3 graphics card. The system appears to work just fine but after a boot the login screen will not take any keyboard input nor can I get to a virtual terminal screen (ctrl-1 ctrl-2 etc) I have to restart the x-server (menu option). Once that is done everything is fine.
I am running a program that connects to a virtual terminal on tty7 last line of inittab #start jnos tn:2345:respawn:/home/jnos/startnos /dev/tty7 tty7:con80X25:/home/jnos /dev/tty7 could this be giving me a problem at boot time. After the restart of the x-server I can get to this program just fine by entering Ctrl-F7.
