Thanks for your input. Honeymoon hasn't started yet, putting it off until the Summer ( Southern Hemisphere) Relaying is indeed turned off, as you would expect I guess. I talked it over with a friendly IT chap who told me what domain name to use. Then by messing around with hostname, domainname, etc. commands I think I have it right now. Funny thing was that I got email to all other locations working and still couldn't post to this list. It seems that this list accepts or rejects postings based on the name part of the "From:" header and not the email address. I found a slight difference in my name between my windows and Linux machines that was preventing me from posting here.
