If Linux is not detecting your card add a statement in /etc/modules.conf to use the tulip driver for your ethernet interface Alias eth0 tulip Also I found this on Netgears site, /FA311/312 linux driver for Redhat 7.1/ /Explanation:/ Redhat 7.1 uses kernel 2.4 which includes National Semiconductor chip set support. FA311 and FA312 both use the National Semiconductor chip set. We have tested the included driver and found that to work well.
