Hi All, I am trying to figure out how to assign actions to keyboard scancodes in RH7.3. Is there a daemon that reads the keyboard and executes actions (programs) based on the scan code pressed? I know how to do it in X-windows but I want to be able to do it before launching them.
Real world scenario- some keyboards have additional keys liken play, skip, stop, etc. and I want to assign them to cdplay or similar non GUI program so that it can command the CD player. Thanks!
