My guess is that you're not in charge of network security at either location, so you're not going to have a great deal of success. You need to do port forwarding at the NAT device on one or both ends to make this work. In other words, someone needs to poke holes in the system security to give you a connection. On the other hand, if you are the trusting sort, you might want to check out GoToMyPC; I don't know if they have a Linux client, but you may find some joy there. Their service (and a few others) basically have the client connect to a central server and maintain a connection so that you can tunnel back through using a secondary client. Personally, I wouldn't trust my data to a man-in-the-middle scenario like that even if they did have a Linux client, but your mileage may vary. -- "The only thing that helps me maintain my slender grip on reality is the friendship I share with my collection of singing potatoes." - Holly, JMC Vessel *Red Dwarf* _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
