My Isp dedicate 2 ip adesses to my account. With one windoze and the linuz box connected to the adsl modem through a hub there is no problem My isp use the nic's mac adress to enable the cards. That mean in my linuz box is eth0 enabled for connection to the internet while the other card is disabled. So if I plug the adsl line to the other card I cant access the internet because it is diabled from the isp. Therefore I thought using Masquerade I would work around this problem since all traffic goes through my first card which is enabled. But maybe I'am wrong and the ISP detect the second card connected to my lan, so they prevent it from connecting. I could try to change the mac address on the second card, but I dont know when the new setting take effect, and I'am tired to reboot the system all the time each time I do a chage in the settings or in the config files.
