I did this recently. You have one IP address but the load is spread over
several NICS.

We have a cisco 5500 series network switch and an RH7.2 server with 4 nics.
On the linux server there is a file called
/usr/share/doc/iputils-20001110/README.ifenslave which describes what to do.

On the cisco switch you type "set port channel <card
number>/<first-port>-<last-port> on"
(Cisco call this "fast etherchannel", if that helps).

It's really very simple.

Is it possible and what software could I use to Load Balance network traffic
across 3 nic's. Also to build up some form of redundancy I would like to be
able to redirect traffic if one of the cards fail or the line is down for
