Well Mark I feel like an idiot!  I panicked and my
mind went blank, which I should know better.  I
apologize for sending out the request for help and
appreciate your reply.

Here it was happened to me.  After I entered my login
Id and password, I hit enter.  The screen turns blue
and I don't have KDE, I haven't a clue what
environment I was in.  Is there something called TWM. 
If I left clicked on the mouse I had a few options
like Iconfigy, resize, xterm, kill and a few other.  I
chose xterm and then eventually, exited,

This time at the Welcome screen, I noticed the screen
type, which was set to default.  I changed it to KDE
and everything is fine.

I apologize again, for wasting you time, I will do
better in the future, I guess I am trying to do, way
to many things all at the same time.
