mount  the  hdd on  another running  redhat linux o.s  and  edit the
../etc/passwd  file  to remove the  passwd !!! like below

root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash

remove the "x" and  boot  the   the  machine  u want to recover  .. login
as  root  there wil  be  no passwd !!
