Hey,
I am using Red Hat 7.2 on a laptop. Becuase I'm on a laptop, this
means that I am often times lacking an internet connection. This
becomes a huge problem for me. If I boot up my laptop and start X when
I don't have an internet connection, X runs really slow. I am using
XFree86-4.1.0-25. I have my hostname setup as:
[kbreit@kbreit kbreit]$ hostname
kbreit.lan
I also have the following in /etc/hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
127.0.0.1 kbreit.lan kbreit
Any help would be appreciated!
