Computers with rh7, netscape 4.75, installed in library for searching
librarys database. The computers are connectet to script on librarys
main server, wich also has a form where users can write in requests for
reservations.

The problem is that when a user is writing in their names and
reservations for books or other medias, the information they write stays
in netscapes cache. This is violating the laws of privacy, so I got to
get rid of this problem some how.

Only way so far I have found is to shut down netscape, delete the
cookies file by rm -r /home/user/.netscape/cache and start netscape
again. Seems for me that

Is it possible to totally disable cache for /home/user/.netscape? Is
there a umask command to use here for make the
/home/user/.netscape/cache directory write-protected for user, even if
it is in users home directory?

Or do anyone have an idea of a simpler way to administrate this problem?
